About this book
Men are born with a drive to accomplish things; to build structures, ideas, businesses and relationships that will outlive them. God created Adam and gave him a mission to cultivate and to keep. In other words, God created man with a drive to solve problems, to improve what he has and to guard it. And most men, all through their lives, will measure their sense of worth against how well they are able to do this. It also gets a bit more complicated because society creates its own standards. Men are not just striving to measure up against whatever God ordained purpose they may have or against personal set goals, they strive, also, to measure up against society's e l e v a t e d n o t i o n s o f s u c c e s s a n d accomplishment—a challenge that becomes all the more daunting in a hypermedia age that brings glitzy images of achievement to us in bits and bytes. Unable to cope with the growing practical demands of life, societal and self- imposed pressures, more and more men are reacting in dire ways Noticed an error in this book?
