It is an investment by the author in the lives of its readers which will outlive him, such that many generations can learn from. At a time like this, this book is intended to create public awareness about sickle cell disorder, help sickle cell warriors to understand more about it and provide important information to family members and caregivers of sickle cell warriors and encourage more research into sickle cell disorder.
