From The window of her room, Grace found grace that brought a touch of heaven, not only for herself, but for her family also.
A seed grows without a sound, it always seems like nothing and people throw contempt at it until it grows into a tree and starts bearing fruits. At this point, it begins to speak for itself. Although people admire the fruits., unfortunately, not all trees bear good fruit. Some give good and sweet fruits, some give bad, poisonous and sour ones. The fact is, the fruit depends on the seed. Our words are seeds that we plant with each utterance. We sow a seed with each word that comes from our lips. Words carry power, they incite wars, they breed peace, they bring families together, they separate close friends; words have both powers to construct or destroy... It all depends on how we use it. Words seem ordinary, seem like nothing, but when properly utilized, they can do amazing things most especially in the life of a growing child. Words have birth awesomeness in many and it has also turned a lot to Genius and influential giants. I've read books and heard a lot of stories of how people became very great because someone somewhere planted some seeds of greatness through words in them. However, I've also heard stories of those whom negative words slowed down their pace in life; how it changed the face of their life and left them hanging in the middle of nowhere... And how it has turned many to wretched and poor people who see no worth in themselves. Words are not something you should utter into people's lives playfully. It is weighty, it is like a seed and it grows into its kind. Don't you think it's necessary to give the words we speak to people around us a check? You need to understand how your words affect the life of your friends, spouse and most especially, children. Children's lives are like fertile soil, ready to receive any seed, be it positive or negative... Encouraging or condemning... Motivating, inspirational or derogatory... INVISIBLE SEED will help you to bridle your tongue, and to embrace speaking positive, encourage, instructive and motivating words to people around you. Your life is worth more than just average, and if wrong words have kept you at a mediocre state, it is time to start making it count.
Looking around me, and observing parenthood , I realized that in a bid to bring out the best in their Children, parents end up frustrating these Children and it eventually tell on their adulthood and they become emotionally broken. Predominantly, this frustration comes from mother to children, because most children have a strong connection with their Mother than they do with their Father. Notice the word MOST, not all. But even with this strong connection, most kids suffer in silence for a one reason or the other through pains that they have developed which may result to an irrational behavior in some children and somehow, most children carry it on to adulthood adding to the number of frustrated adults in the society. I believe the solution to this begins with understanding our children and this begins from mothers. To this generation of mothers, don't you think we can make a difference with parenting in our generation? Standing as a voice for the voiceless kids that are yet unborn or probably those that are still growing who crave for an affectionate childhood beyond the usual lifestyle, we can make a difference with parenting and it begins with you and me! So, here I am writing on behalf of Olamiposi and her sibling. I want to be their mom and their best friend. I want us to have a different view to parenting and it begins with me (we Mothers)
