This book is a compilation of short satirical stories aimed at commonizing common sense in our society. I shook plenty tables in this book but not to worry, the tables are not broken. Why Satire You may ask.. You see, the world is already a very complex place, there is no point making it more complex. More over, we already have the likes of Patrick Obiaghon and Chris Okotie who can speak for 10 minutes and You might not understand one line of whatever it is they were saying. We don’t need more grammarians. We need folks who can put complex stuff in simple “linguas” that we all can understand whether we have a PhD or a “je le o simi” certificate. Also, the AYs and Basketmouths of this world are thriving in their space so why can’t we leverage on their core capabilities whilst still ensuring we pass the serious message we want to pass across without adulteration. With that said, dive neck deep into the book already.. Let's commonize common sense.
When people hear your name, what comes to their minds? Well, I know You are not a mind reader, so You might not be able to know exactly what comes to people’s minds when they hear your name. I also know that You are not necessarily “obiligated” to “atikulate” what people think when they hear your name. It is also possible You don’t even give a “Fayose” about it sef. However, what if I told You that there is a way to pre-empt or pre-engineer what comes to people’s minds when they hear your name?. Or do You think it is impossible to alter what comes to people’s mind when your name is mentioned? It is very possible and that is the foundation on which the concept of Branding is based on. Branding is not just a buzzword thrown around in the classrooms of Business Schools and the conference rooms of corporate offices. This is 2019 and everyone irrespective of what they do and where they do it must have a brand they are actively growing. In the words of one of my former classmates way back in university days, “You are either branded or stranded”. The truth is, whether You are actively building a brand or not, we are branding You. Period!.
I decided to write it in a simple and concise, “straight to the point”, “no bullshit” manner. I want You to pick up the book, finish it in one or two days depending on your speed and pick up action points almost immediately. That is why I wrote the book and I hope it is helpful to You. One final thing, when You are done reading this book, I expect You to of course have more knowledge on the subject of Money but most importantly, I will expect You to have action points that You are going to work on almost immediately.
