teaming up for powerful Impact
Our partners have worked with us to deliver even more innovative, effective and successful projects and programmes, and their support has been vital in achieving our Mission and Vision.
In our drive to improve literacy across the country, we partnered with Teach For Nigeria to provide reading materials for over 10,000 primary school pupils who couldn’t afford them. We raised over ₦1,000,000 from donations and over 700 books from the book drive.
We partnered with GTBank to create The Dusty Manuscript, a literary prize for Nigerian writers that provides them with the opportunity of getting their unpublished stories published, as well as a cash prize of ₦1,750,000. Two of the winners have secured publishing deals with Kachifo Ltd.
We partnered with Samsung Mobile Nigeria to organize a short story contest for students in over 100 Secondary schools across the country. Winners of this contest have been awarded with cash prizes, internships and Samsung Mobile devices to encourage digital reading.
We partnered with Union Bank Nigeria to initiate The Campus Writing Challenge, a writing contest for students of tertiary institutions across Nigeria. 1,793 entries were received and the Top 25 entries were rewarded with over ₦1,000,000 and other consolation prizes.
We were selected as one of the 12 startups that participated in Google’s first Launchpad Accelerator Africa class, modelled after the global program in Silicon Valley.
